About This Year’s Event
On October 28, we celebrated the 41st Annual Gladhander Auction and Raffle, “Journey Through Narnia”.
The annual formal event included an evening of dinner, drinks, both live and online auction, games, music, and dancing. Included was the sale of raffle tickets that gave winners the choice of a 2023 JEEP® Gladiator 4×4 arranged by Bill Marsh Auto; or a 2023 Bayliner VR5 arranged by Grand Bay Marine and Walstrom Marine; or $35,000 in cash!
Results will be announced at the Volunteer Thank You Party in November.
Proceeds are primarily directed to support GTACS teacher salaries and student scholarship opportunities. It is one of the longest-running school fundraising events in Michigan, with more than $13 million in earnings over 40 years in support of the Catholic school system. Gladhander represents a significant source of funding for the preschool through 12th grade parochial school system which is not taxpayer-funded.
