Development

To ensure that GTACS can continue its commitment of providing students with an exceptional Catholic education, we rely upon the support of our parents, alumni, parishioners and community.

The Development Office is dedicated to building and sustaining relationships with a diverse base on donors. The Development Office is responsible for raising annual and major gift funding for tuition assistance, religious formation, faculty enhancement, technology, and facilities. We also focus on the future of GTACS by continuing to build an endowment fund through the Grand Traverse Educational Foundation.

The Development Office engages in a variety of activities:

  • Annual fund coordination
  • Restricted giving (i.e., scholarships and religious formation)
  • Major and planned giving
  • Corporate strategy (i.e., matching gifts, advertising solicitation)
  • Fundraising event coordination (i.e., Traverse Golf Classic)
  • Gladhander management
  • Alumni relations and outreach
  • Public relations and marketing
  • Grant writing to foundations
  • Special and major projects oversight
  • Endowment strategy (Grand Traverse Educational Foundation, Inc.)
