For the 2010-2011 school year, St. Francis High School will be using an online textbook provider. We have selected ESCO Books as our online bookstore provider.
We are excited about the opportunity that this will provide for our families in the form of online convenience.
Some of the benefits include:
- ability to pay by credit card (Visa/MasterCard only) or by check/money order
- 24/7 online shopping
- phone ordering available for those who prefer not to shop online
- live reps from ESCO available during business hours for customer assistance (not answered by international customer service providers)
- book pricing and quality available at several options: new, used (3 options) or rental rates
- free shipping for books purchased within the first 2 weeks of opening of the “bookstore”
- low shipping costs if you miss the free shipping window
- full refund for books returned within 30 days due to schedule changes
- financial aid available for students with demonstrated need
- in-school buyback of books on the last day of exams
- credit for books sold back to ESCO at the end of the school year will be automatically applied to book purchases the following year or a refund check can be issued within 2-3 weeks of the return
- if you miss the in-school buyback free shipping for books sold back to ESCO within 2 weeks of the end of the school year
We hope that this new service will provide parents with a more efficient source for textbooks with more options for making payment as well as book quality/price choices (new vs. used vs. rental).
Full instructions for ordering books for the 2010-11school year will also be provided prior to the opening of school.
Total book costs will vary depending on the student’s schedule and the quality of books that are selected, however, average prices range from $200-$400 per student for the year.
